About

Untitled design-2 copy 2

My name is Rey Laygo and welcome to my website. This is where I share the honest and meaningful things that matter in life. I believe that when we go through life learning the lessons and experiences, we are most grateful because of it. When I say grateful, I mean the rights and wrongs I’ve learned over the years. I would never trade my lessons or experiences for all the money in the world, for it has made me the person I am today and this is my Journey I’ll own up to.

I believe the internet is a loud space, and sometimes we hide behind a facade of Aliases we make up in which our authentic self cannot grow. It’s impossible to grow with that kind of fear. With amazement there is an amount of substance found within the simple and little things in life, it grounds us, it solidifies us, it makes us whole.

We are all here defined by what we can imagine, create and build. We cannot say to ourselves that, “I’m here just enjoying and living life and then I die.” I say this with conviction since it is the man or woman who has the intention of creating the best in life. That my friend ultimately makes the world a better place. I say again, we are here for only a short time. Rather than being obfuscated by the lenses of the world, we can define and find the X in Life. And when we do find it, we have to mark that X, for it is rightfully ours.

I believe in Creating and Building with the passion that is within me, in fact it’s in all of us. For that is our true authentic-self. This is the intention of living deliberately with purpose.

If you’re interested in getting deeper, my journal is where I share my lessons, experiences and thoughts.

Expectations.

I’m not likely to apologize for the things that I say, but if I’m out of line, I will. I believe there’s intrinsic value in people hearing truth. It would be a disservice to everyone if we avoid how we really feel and choose to hold back what we know can only make the best version of ourselves. I speak for myself, but sometimes it can relate to you or hit an emotional cord, there is no apology in that.

I’ll have the same struggles just like everyone who breathes and lives. But I’ll embrace the challenges just like I have in the past, and without fear of being judged by anyone. In return, I’ll do the same for you.

I’ll be honest, I’m still learning. This is not a place for self-help, but a journal of what I’ve learned and continue to learn. I’m not going to tell you what you should do because I believe you already know what to do. But if you can get some gold nuggets from what I write and share, then I’m happy for you. To emphasize, this is a journal about why I think the way I think and do what I do from the things I’ve learned.

With that being said, I can reserve the right to write about anything. Whether it’s from my spiritual journey, to what I learn from a personal, academic or professional level. And like anything else, it’s also everything in between the colors besides black or white. There is a phenomenal amount of substance found within the simple things when we search for that X in Life and marking it as our mission, purpose, duty, place or whatever you want to call it.

I’m glad you’re here, and I sincerely welcome and embrace you with enthusiasm.

Living with Intention, To Find The X in Life
